The stare.

I don't usually notice people staring at me and my foreign self but the other day when I was walking home there was this little boy riding his bike towards me and staring hard. He kept staring even after he passed me I looked back and he was turned completely around on his bike so he ran it off the road into the grass. It was pretty funny. It is kind of weird only seeing Asians everywhere. No diversity.

Rain and Wind.

So there was a storm yesterday and I enjoyed watching all of the little Japanese and their umbrellas fly away in the wind hahahaha. On my way home I found too many abandon Kasas Here they are.

First and Last All Night out.

Sapporo Night

It all started with a simple dinner the the Hi-C Club. It was an all you can eat all you can drink for 2 hours for about 20 dollars a person. So we were eating and drinking having a good time then the next part of the night began. G asks us do we want to go the this free club or this other club that you have to pay 1000 yen for but we can get lap dances. We chose the former.
the search for club Booty was on. We asked numerous people on the street for directions most were just trying to sell us prostitutes. It took us about an hour to find it but we did and at this time it was about 11pm. No one was at the club yet cause apparently the clubs do get going to about 12. So It was cool just hanging out together us 5 exchange students.
12 and 1 o'clock roll around there are creeps crawling all over the place. We find out that there is an up stairs lounge that you can sit in and at this time I am pretty tired but there is no hope for going home. this is because all of the public transportation stops at ten in Sapporo. So we are stuck out until 615 in the morning.

At this time G tells me that this club is actually know for Japanese men to come to pick up foreign girls for the night but he wont let any thing happen to us. Us, Katie from Kansas who can undoubtedly hold her own against any scrawny japanese male which is about all of them, me who is not scared of them either, and Tina who is drunk and horny and tiny tiny cute high maintenance girl.
We sit down and guy start coming up and talking to us and as soon as they do G steps in to do all the talking for us. Like hello we have never been hit on before like we don't know what guys want. He kept feeding us all these things that if you do this they think you are going home with them tonight.

Finally to guys sit down by us and they are small nerdy guys one of them decides to order us all shots cause it is two tequila shots for 5 dollars roughly. Then G swoops in and does the talking some how he gets them to buy him a shot too.
Then we keep talking and they want to order us another and do I let G drink mine when they aren't looking. At this point we notice that one of the guys has actually just pour his shot all over the table the one who is not buying. the other guy is trashed.

Tina then decides to go sit by the one who didn't drink who is totally after some booty. the one who paid for all the drink is sitting by me getting sicker and sicker until he has to spew and runs to the bathroom. Meanwhile drunk Tina is getting all chummy with the jerk who just used his friend. Holding hands practically sitting in his lap Katie decides to intervene and tell Tina you need to get away from him now.
She doesn't listen. G decides that the best plan would be the get them down on the dance floor so that he can get her away. We go down there dance and G is unsuccessful cause Tina is unwilling. But the G is like to me dance with me and I was like how is that going to help. But apparently Tina has a crush on G even though she has a Boy back home so she see that and comes running over.
So we finally get her away by that time alot of people had noticed us. And it is about 2 30 am. Then guys are coming up to G and asking him if they can dance with one of his girls cause they are the hottest here.
I knew the way g was acting people were going to get that impression that g was our Pimp. And they did. Because no one could talk to us with out going through him.

Cant rotate in Japanese. The club.

So at this time we have about 3 1/2 hours till we can get home so we have to stay there cause there is no where to go. I am so tired my eyes burn so bad from everyone smoking. Tina and G get sick and pass out. Katie and I then stay up to keep watch. These three Russian guys come up and ask Katie if she wants water and she is like I think the mean Vodka and they sure did she said no thanks in all the languages she knew they finally got the hint. We looked away and the next thing we know Tina's open mouth has a straw coming out the Russians decided to mess with her while she was sleeping putting stuff in her hair and such. That was pretty funny.
Next thing we know this Tranny  comes up stairs and this girl tackles the Tranny right by our table she starts poking its boobs and trying to pull up its skirt. That was the entertainment until 4:20 rolled around and the club was finished so we had to find another refuge. MacDonalds! 24 hrs it was like home only still smokey and a bunch of drunk sleeping Japanese. We stayed there until 6 and I caught the subway back to my bus station and find out my bus doesn't start for anther hour so I take a  2230 yen 22.30 dollars about cab ride home. to exhausted I brush my teeth and sleep. My host-mother informs me letter that it was 7 am when I got home and that we have a host family and student lunch at 1 and drag my cranky butt there and here I am tell you the story.
To top it off that boy never called to go hiking tomorrow. Oh well.

Climbing Trip.

Yesterday I went climbing. It was me, the instructor, and this other boy who was pretty cute. So I am giving him to you Jess. He looks like Uli only cuter but he really reminded me of him. but he is nice and likes football and climbing mountains on the weekend. He is suppose to call me today because I asked him if I could go hiking with him and his friend this weekend. Oh and he is about to finish his masters at Hokkaido university he studies GMO foods mainly soybeans.  I will show him you picture jess and it will be a match made in heaven.
I was really afraid at first especially on the repelling part of the climbing but after awhile it wasn`t to bad but then on the last climb we did I fell and I screamed haha. but i didn`t go anywhere. It was so crazy but I had a lot of fun.
I went to a Baseball game too it was really fun in the beginning. they have songs for every player and the whole crowd singing gives you the chills. but i got really sleepy and our team sucked so it lost its thrill quickly.

To the left is the first rock i climbed and below is me before we started climbing and the ocean is in the back ground it was really pretty there it was like a bunch of cliffs along the shore. when we were walking in we had to climb over a gate that said keep out falling rocks my instructor said but we don`t keep out we climbers. and yes jeans i stole your shirt.

Shohei my Japanese Boyfriend.

I just started a new class today it is a discussion class for Japanese and English speaking exchange students. It is a film based class where we watch movies and discuss Japanese society the problems and good things too. There are only 4 of us in the class me and 3 Japan natives. 2 girls and 1 boy. The girls are ok at english the boy can speak very little I felt so bad for him our professor kept laughing at him every time he spoke.
We are going to watch 6 movies and everyday after class we make a like a brainstorm paper of what we thought about the movies which I did in like 10 min and it took the rest of the class 30 min. Also we do a 100 word reflection easiest class ever!
After class I asked Shohei If I could help him since the class is really easy for me I have free time so I could help him and he said yes. Start to some thing good.

more toilet.

So I just went in one of those in the ground toilets not sure how you are suppose to use them just squat I guess. I peed on the floor. oops. Another time I had alot of time to kill before my bus so I was using the bathroom and I thought I would try out all the buttons. The butt sprayer is interesting. It is kinda nice but if you turn up the power to much it is like you just went down a speed slide at wild waves. not pleasant. over share maybe.
My host father, sister and I went TV shopping the other day it took over 3 hours to choose one go through the paper work and get out yet they are delivering the TV next week. I am almost positive it wont fit through the door let alone do they have space for it in the house.
Plus there are only 5 channels. I don't know who said Japanese are technology savvy cause why does everyone have antennas still satellite is the way to go to many channels to watch excess is the best. So we are going to have a huge TV with nothing to watch.

Three day weekend.

So there are two national holidays next week so have a three day week end and then I also have Thursday off.  My host family is working the whole time.
My host mother and I had an hour or more long talk about what foods I can eat. I think she is getting it cause she made me spaghetti last night for dinner it was pretty good and this morning I had a kiwi bowl of fried potatoes and ham mixed in frosted flakes and a fruit cup pretty good but she feeds me to much it is hard to eat it all.
Cant wait for my camera to get here then I can show you some pictures!

Friends.

I made a friend today on the basketball team. Her name is Ripi she is really cute. She says she has a boyfriend in Tokyo but I am not sure cause she dresses like a lesbian. She wants to eat lunch together during the school day and also come to my house and me go to hers! I am really excited cause I was getting really lonely.
Some funny stuff happen at practice today. one of the guys told one of the girls to tell me that he thinks I am sexy I said to tell him thank you ooohhhh boy!
I asked the girls which of the boys is the best at basketball and they pointed to this really short guy who I have thought the whole time is Cocky!!!! Soo I told him that I think that he is cocky and they said yeah! and then I showed them the word in my dictionary and they said oh his name is Kaki. So funny!

Climbing.

I went to a climbing the other day and my arm is still sore. I was kind of different than the one I have been to at home. So the guys there were helping me out a lot even though they didn't speak english. It was fun.
I went shopping and I really want one of these cute skirts that are everywhere but I only bought one funny shirt that says wow.
So my host mom is trying to find stuff that I like to eat so she gave me a hotdog for breakfast it wasn't good. I feel so bad that I am so hard to cook for.

Lost :(

I went home yesterday thought I got off at the wrong bus stop and so I walk like 2 miles the wrong way and then back to realize that I didn't get off at the wrong stop. by that time it was dark so when I finally got into the right neighborhood I couldn't tell which house was mine. I wanted to cry so hard!!!! but I didn't I eventually made it home 2 hours after I left the bus station. At least I made it! 
so my Japanese class is super easy cause I am in the beginning class so I am just relearning everything which is OK cause I have a lot of holes in my knowledge so I am alright with it but this beginning stuff is so boring. At least I wont be getting a lot of home work so I can have time to do other stuff I guess.

Ben Bullins is Back.

So I get picked up by my host sister in my host families Honda Fit. We then ate a fast food restaurant which we both got really messy burgers but I was the only one to make a mess. Then we went in to a store and took photos in a photo booth yikes I look crazy after they put those effects on.
On the way home I noticed that Hiroka my host sister was wearing a gold band on her left hand. I asked her if she was getting married she said no that it was a birthday present from her boy friend of 8 months.
All the Japanese couples also have phone charms that match their boyfriend my gift for Trevor when I get home.
She also said that her boyfriend use to be fat and showed me a funny picture but now he is pretty cute and can speak English. They are both going to school to become dental hygienists. Hiroka has had her braces on for 4 years sounds like her teeth were pretty bucked up.
When we get home I unpacked in my own room that they apologized for being so small. Which it is small but it doesn't matter. When my host mom got home we went over the house rules.
1.   clean up the bath room if you are the last person
          every night we have to take a shower and I have been first both times but the first time I had hair everywhere so I tried to clean it up so the last person didn't have to but I got in trouble for doing that.
2. 1st floor is cleaned everyday and 2nd is cleaned twice a week
   I said that I would clean my own room
3. They wash clothes every day the ones from the day before get put in the wash right as you get out of the shower and the my host mother washes the in the morning.
4. Trash there is a strict law in Japan that you have to sort your trash but there are like 5 different categories
So anyways that that was pretty difficult to get through to me.
 They speak alot of english to me but it is hard for them to really exepress anything but I think that I could understand better if they used japanese cause alot of the stuff they are trying to say I know in japanese.
Like we went to Costco and my host mother was talking about Lunch but she kept saying Ranch and I was so confused!
probably the weirdest things that I have seen have to do with the dog. First they feed it fruits and veggies plus dog food i think but more salad than anything. It is pretty well trained but it is still crazy! An then when it poops is stands on this plastic thing and turns it but around and they catch its poop in a piece of paper and take it to the toilet to flush it down yuck!!! Oh and every single time we come home timo has chewed up something he never fells.
last night we went bowling with the papa too it was really fun then we took pictures in the photobooth and it was really fun. My host father is kinda big so jet be careful if you buy him something.
my host father is always working but he is fun he is on a business trip all week. Him and my host mom dont sleep in the same room.
If you have any other questions ask cause I will be able to get online during the week but not on the weekend only if we plan it.

oh and the food is not getting better cause it is always cold nothing is ever warm unless we go out which we have twice my host mother hasnt made anything for dinner yet.
we went to and Italian no Bali restaurant they werent sure but it didnt seem like either to my and there were 3 small course the last had ketchup rice it actually wasnt to bad.

I went to basketball practice again still out of shape. The boys were practicing too and when we went full court I made my first basket they all clapped so funny! I kinda suck right  now I can't shoot at all even worse than usual I need to get into the gym!
So I found out why I can only shower at night. It is Japanese custom to do so so you can all soak in the same bath water. You are only going to catch me dead in that water. Luckily you rinse off before you get in so there is a shower right out side which I will be using!
Also I found out all the people who come here from america to teach English are creepy old white guys who are extremely boring and couldn't get anyone attention in the US but are a little exotic here so they can get wives.

Dating habits of the Japanese Woof...

1st poop

I sat down and the toilet seat was like it just came out of the oven! Then I pushed the music note button and heard a sound that sounds like the toilet is flushing. Instead of a courtesy flush I pushed the extreme odor button to cover up the smell! What a smart toilet.

One of the guys in the group is creating Japanese Ebonics. Very Interesting. Also 2 of the girls I have met are dating 30 year olds and they are 19 and 20. and the 19 year old looks like she is 9 she is maybe 4'9 now thats like bouncing her on your knee am I right Jet'aime she said he was 6 foot.  Crazy.

Basketball

I just got done playing basketball only for 2 mins then I was pooped! When I came into play the girls all stopped practice and stared all though I was with a tall black man. I am not sure which was the show stopper. After the kicked my new friend out of practice no boys allowed!!! They asked me where my Kare was going I didn't know how to explain that he was not my boyfriend. The girls were so nice but speak English only slightly. I think it will be great to hang out with them and make me practice English on a regular basis! They all so taught me popular phrases in Japanese taberu now! so after you say what you are doing you say now! and also itsumen which is to say like a family member about your friends and the basketball team are itsumen. I am really excited to spend more time with them!

Day one!

So my first day has been pretty good. There are a few people in the group that I feel compatible with so I am happy! I am about to go work out! I haven't used any Japanese really and it turns out that this is a language intensive class 3 hours a day 4 days a week and 2 hours of study a day outside of class. One girl doesn't speak any Japanese so I am not the worse! Oh I get moneys for lunch too so I am excited. Oh and I you want to write me write to the school just address it to me and it will get there!

Day of Sequester.

Now I know what the people on BB feel like all alone in a room all day nothing to do but watch TV. Went shopping for gifts for my host family real last minute stuff. Raulf's and Walgreen's didn't have as neat of stuff as you would think. I did buy some candy Wonka brand and a dog toy maybe I will find more as I flee the country. I might just buy some sake when I get there. Shout out to my newest followers. I thank you, I thank you.

Last Night!

This is my last night with the people I love in the US. I packed and will be living with half of my wardrobe for the next three months. (still 50 times more clothes than Sam)  My camera hasn't come so I will be awhile until I can complement my stories with photos. see you soon!

Nothing New.

I don't have any new interesting advancements in my progress to being abroad. Currently it feels as if I may never leave. I am enjoying my time with my sissies and others. I looked at the weather forecast for my destination and have found that I am traveling back into rain and clouds my favorite weather I will be right at home.
