Filthy Americans.
Yesterday my host mother came up to my room to change my sheets. She asked me at school who changes my sheets. I was like no one. Well I guess I am suppose to but I probably did it three times during the two semesters. She was appalled. She asked if this was the practice of everyone in america. I said no but I think it is common among college students because washing clothes is expensive and we are lazy. I then told her that I hardly ever was my clothes. She said well in my house we change the sheets every two weeks. They also wash their clothes everyday right after they wear them.

ReplyDeleteJennifer Ryan Mullins you are embarrassing me. I told you not to let them think that you are untrained!! You need to help out and clean up. You should be washing your sheets (and your clothes) at least once a week. What will those people think of us. Mom.
